High performance attributes further highlight the value of these Li-ion batteries including zero negative memory effect, one of the highest power density to weight ratios of the entire Li-ion battery range, and a near flat power curve towards end-of-charge.

Past lithium battery safety issues are no longer concerns with modern models, having repeatedly passed crush and puncture testing resulting in no fire or explosion. Additionally, although these high performance Lithium Nickel Manganese Cobalt Oxide batteries are more volatile by nature, and constructed with Cobalt & Nickel metals, they have been rigorously tested and are proven to be extremely safe to use.

Furthermore, a built-in BMS monitoring & management chip prevents battery pack overcharge, over-discharge, overheating and short circuit. This standard tech feature ensures internal operating safety separate to external damage risk.

Relatives of these Lithium Nickel Manganese Cobalt Oxide or Li-NMC batteries account for approximately 80% of the lithium battery consumer market. They have a high energy density in respect to both mass & volume, are capable of high pulse currents, and are particularly suited for low drain, long life and low cost applications.
