Additionally, although these high performance Lithium Nickel Manganese Cobalt Oxide batteries are more volatile by nature, and constructed with Cobalt & Nickel metals, they have been rigorously tested and are proven to be extremely safe to use.
Furthermore, a built-in BMS monitoring & management chip prevents battery pack overcharge, over-discharge, overheating and short circuit. This standard tech feature ensures internal operating safety separate to external damage risk.
Relatives of these Lithium Nickel Manganese Cobalt Oxide or Li-NMC batteries account for approximately 80% of the lithium battery consumer market. They have a high energy density in respect to both mass & volume, are capable of high pulse currents, and are particularly suited for low drain, long life and low cost applications.
